Final Piece

I considered a variety of options when deciding on my final piece because I wanted it to feature architecture in a remarkable manner. This made my final product very distinct from the others. I did a canvas piece where I printed a photo which I acquired the rights to, then I started a lengthy process of a brainstorm, I didn't know what to do with the canvas, so I discussed with my teacher and the first thoughts we had was to hand and machine stich into it, then we had another to 'Stitch and Rip' where you stich some fabric behind a piece and then rip the fabric you stiched into to expose the piece beneath. With assistance, I executed my final piece with finally sublimate printing different colours onto the print, resulting in a really nice tribute to the 2,977 people killed on September 11, 2001.
